Participation Agreement
Māmāwalu is a shared community space.
By choosing to participate in a gathering or session, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Personal Responsibility
You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being during your participation.
Māmāwalu gatherings are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional care.
Nature of the Space
Māmāwalu offers community-based gatherings and shared practice sessions that may include conversation, reflection, or demonstrations of supportive practices.
These are offered for educational and community purposes only.
Participation & Choice
You are invited to participate at your own pace.
You may choose to:
engage fully
observe quietly
step away at any time
Listening to your body and your needs is encouraged
Shared Community Space
Māmāwalu is built on mutual respect and care.
By participating, you agree to:
honor the experiences and perspectives of others
maintain confidentiality of what is shared within the space
contribute to a respectful and supportive environment
If at any point these agreements are not being honored, Māmāwalu reserves the right to gently pause or end participation in order to maintain the integrity of the space.
Continued participation in future gatherings may also be reconsidered if these agreements are not upheld.
Keiki-Inclusive Spaces
Some Māmāwalu gatherings welcome keiki as part of the shared space.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children at all times.
We ask that all participants move with awareness and care for both the space and those within it.
Release of Liability
By participating, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and at your own discretion.
Māmāwalu and its facilitators are not liable for any injury, discomfort, or outcomes related to participation.
Agreement
By attending a Māmāwalu gathering or session, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the above.
